Workshop “Actual position and future development of ERA”

Dear walkers

At the annual assembly 2009 in La Palma/Canary Islands/Spain, you were informed that the Presidium would like to have your opinion to different topics in order to be able to initiate the future development of ERA. For that purpose, it is planned to organize some workshops on the theme

“Actual position and future development of ERA”

which will be held during the annual get-together of ERA, scheduled in Foligno/Italy from October 7 to 10, 2010, on Friday, October 8, following the commission meetings.

In these workshops, questions to seven different topics will be discussed in smaller groups. The answers will enable the Presidium to streamline the future activities of ERA to the specific requirements of its member organisations.

The Presidium is of the opinion that answers to the raised questions cannot only be given spontaneously in the workshops by the delegates to the general assembly. This is why we are sending them to you before-hand. In this way, they can be discussed and answered within your organisation in a board meeting and/or with your competent specialists.

Please find attached the questions. We kindly ask you to deal with them according to above-mentionned guidelines and to return your answers to ERA if you are not able to attend the meetings. We would like to get your response before September 30, 2010. This would enable us to compile them for use in the discussions in the workshops.

Your delegate(s) can also bring your answsers to Foligno for personal delivery.

If these two options are not possible, you can still send back the questionnaire until October 30, 2010 at the latest.
