The Menalon Trail is a 75 km long mountain trail in Arcadia, in the center of Peloponnese (Greece) that unfurls through the Lousios River gorge, the western slopes of Menalo mouintain, the valley of Mylaon River and the Northeast Gortynian Mountains.
The Menalon Trail passes by the following areas: Stemnitsa, Dimitsana, Zygovisti, Elati, Vytina, Nymfasia, Magouliana, Valtesiniko, Lagkadia.
The trail crosses 9 villages and uses parts of a trail network, which was then rearranged in a serial structure and signposted systematically by a large group of volunteers from Eastern Gortynia and under the participation of Club of Mountaineers and Ecologists of Arcadia (SAOO).
Menalon Trail passes by all the historical and cultural elements of the zone and is connected to an endless network of trails.
